How do I install the app?

Once your payment is complete, a magic link will be sent to the email address you provided during checkout. Simply open the email and click the link to access the app.We recommend opening the link in Google Chrome. From there, follow the prompts to add the app to your device. Once installed, you can access it from your home screen or desktop like a regular app.

Can I use Trefnus on multiple devices?

Yes. A standard Trefnus licence can be used on up to 5 personal devices.If you enable Dropbox Cloud Sync, your data can be synchronised across your devices, helping you keep your information up to date wherever you use Trefnus.Your licence is for your personal use only and should not be shared, resold, or distributed to others.

What happens if I change or replace my device?

If you change or replace your device, you can continue where you left off by exporting your data from the old device and importing it to the new one. Use the export and import buttons located in the app header to move your data securely and easily.

Can I use the apps offline?

Yes. Once the app has been installed and used for the first time, it can be accessed offline. After the initial setup, key features and content are stored on your device, allowing you to continue using the app even without an internet connection, although some features may require connectivity to stay fully up to date.

We started out like many businesses, paying for software subscriptions for almost everything we did. Over time, the cost, complexity and constant dependence on third-party platforms became frustrating and restrictive.

Yes, in most cases. Trefnus apps are Progressive Web Apps that run safely in Google Chrome. Many small and medium-sized businesses use them on both personal and company-managed devices.If your organisation has strict policies, your IT administrator can usually whitelist our domain. We’re happy to provide any technical documentation or security overview your IT team requires.Tip: You can begin using the full app right away in a normal Chrome browser tab - no installation is required for core functionality.

Although the app runs in a browser, it uses special web technologies that allow it to store essential files and data directly on your device during the initial install. When you open the app offline, the browser loads these saved resources instead of fetching them from the internet. This makes the app behave more like a traditional installed app, allowing core features to work without a connection, while online access is only needed for features that rely on live data or syncing.
